40 years after John Lennon’s death, 40 Italian visual artists donated their original works inspired by the former Beatles to raise funds for music and entertainment workers. Art supporting art is a proof of how there is a common feeling between artists belonging to different fields.
The campaign named “IMAGINE” was launched by Rolling Stone Italia in partnership with LIVE ALL and was joined by artists such as Paolo Troilo, Marco Lodola, Max Papeschi, Anna Godeassi, Paolo Maggis, Mr. Wany, Giulio Vesprini, Giordano Floreancig , but also by conductors, singers and musicians such as Morgan (his drawing was the “manifesto” of this campaign), Sascha Goetzel, Andy, Enrico Gabrielli and Gianluca De Rubertis.
The campaign was inspired by the famous “BAG ONE” created in 1970 containing 14 lithographs related to the artist’s married life. It was launched on the 8th of December of 2020, the day of the anniversary of John Lennon’s death.
Deodato/format Arte (deodato.com) was the technical partner of the campaign, and offered their experience and professionalism in art sales, being one of the most authoritative online art galleries.
All revenues were given to Scena Unita, the fund born to support entertainment workers. The Scena Unita fund is managed by Cesvi in collaboration with “La Musica Che Gira” and Music Innovation Hub.
